On The Edge Presents: Ishmel Colion

Known by his stage name Ishmel Colion, is an Independent American rapper, writer, and producer. He is the Co-founder and CEO of Gorilla Money Cartel and one half of the duo Rubberband Clan. Being raised around music he was influenced at a very young age running around the house as a toddler hollering "I Need A Beat." His inspiration stems from music of the 70's and 80's from artist such as Minnie Rippleton, Smokey Robinson, Luther Vandross to name a few. As a young boy around the age of seven he would sneak around in his room remixing and sampling rap songs while playing around making up his own lyrics to the songs. One day while in class he was mimicking a 2 live crew album which landed him in trouble with his Teacher. After hearing what he had done his mother made him finish what he was doing and entered him in a local talent contest; ever since he has had a passion for
performing on stage. Over the years music became his passion and at the age of 19 he got heavy into rap music and becoming a rapper. His musical influences come from artist like T.I, Outkast, Big L, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Jay Z, Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar to name a few. After graduating High School he went to college taking up Business Management as his field of study, planning to one day turn his own business into an empire. In the past couple of years he has released three projects including projects with his Rubberband Clan mate Skinny. He is currently working on his new project set to be released summer 2013. You can catch him in the studio 2-3 times a week working on this project. This artist is performing in cities such as Wisconsin, Atlanta and Nashville in local bars and clubs such as F5, The Rutledge and Center Stage. On The Edge Presents: Yung Skinny

Yung Skinny a.k.a Maserati Slim is the president and founder of Gorilla Money Cartel and one half of the Rubberband Clan. Born native of Nigeria Africa he has resided most of his life in Nashville, TN. While growing up he was introduced and influenced by the sounds of artist such as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Outkast, Twista, and Do or Die. At the age of 14 he started putting his pen and rhymes to paper and began rapping. His musical inspirations of today come from artist such as Young Jezzy and T.I. Over the past year he has released projects for the
Rubberband Clan which consist of himself and artist Ishmel Colion. While they love performing together both artist have decided to do solo projects as well. In the studio on a regular basis Yung Skinny has began working on his solo project entitled 'Sealed Indictment'. From ups and downs in the streets growing up his music is an ultimate reflection of who Yung Skinny is. From the experiences of coming up in the streets and trying to be on the top of the food chain; to run ins with the judicial system dealing with situations a man goes through while in these types of situations. Each track he delivers is a glimpse into real life. When asked whom he would most like to open for in the industry he responded by saying; "Young Jezzy." As of now Yung Skinny is seeking and taking on any available opportunity to perform and express his talent. He has performed in many Nashville venues such as The Rutledge, centerstage, Club F5, and outside the city in venues located in Tullahoma,TN. Yung Skinny....Cashville's Boston George.

On The Edge Presents: Cash Bundlez

Tim, better known by his stage name Cash Bundlez is an Artist/Writer out of Nashville, TN. One part hustler, one part businessman. With a unique cultivated look and sound that sets him apart from his predecessors he is able to diversify his music which is guaranteed to keep you entertained and bobbing your head to his lyrics. Cash started rapping in his teen years and now making a career out of his talents. His musical influences steer from musicians such as Michael Jackson, Keith Sweat, Biggie, Big Boi, Jay Z, Mac, Erykah Badu, Maxwell, Timberland and Justin Timberlake, just to name a few. His first mixtape/project itself boasts an impressive 17 tracks and features artist such as, Ishmel Colion and Yung Skinny of Rubberband Clan. When asked whom he would most like to open for in the industry he responded by saying; "That's really hard to say, because that alone is a blessing in itself. But if I had to pick 3 artists up front it would be: Big Boi, Jay-Z, Wiz Khalifa." As of now Cash is seeking and taking on any available opportunity to perform and express his talent. Performing anywhere from 4 to 12 shows a month; depending on the events most in town as well as in other cities and states. He has performed in many Nashville venues such as The Rutledge, Limelight, Lucy Blu's, Rack City, F5, and Bottoms Up. His current goals are to build a larger fan base and garner some radio play from stations across the world.
