On the Edge Presents: Charlie P.

Charlie P. referred by many as Cashville’s Local Legend, has a name synonymous with the Tennessee underground rap scene.

At 15, Charlie was the youngest member the newly established rap group -The Burnaz-. From the very beginning, his presence was felt and his talent was raw and fresh. Though the sales from his freshman album were modest, they were strong enough to get Charlie recognized. Despite the mounting pressure, Charlie legitimized himself as an artist who’s potential had not yet peaked.

In 2006, he delivered the long awaited solo album, “Local Legend”. This album had a major sound and multiple singles. Local Legend really made a statement, “Charlie P Is For Real”. Between 2002 and 2008 Charlie has released more than 7 mixtapes, helped develop multiple artist and is undoubtedly considered a veteran in the game.

Accredited to over 50,000 indy records, Charlie has matured into a talented businessman as well. His newest venture, Black Fly Music, is already a growing success.
